Jeff Dunham Charlottesville Concert reviews
Great show, annoying venue
Show was great and thoroughly enjoyable. However, I never want to go back to the venue. The purse rule is ridiculous. I can see them not wanting people to bring in large bags, but the people with smaller purses that were turned away was ridiculous. And the way that they talk to you is rude, they bark orders at you, and there is no such thing as customer service. They give the overall impression that they are the authority there and they are patrolling around waiting to catch you doing something wrong. I did not get into “trouble” for anything, but I just didn’t like seeing that. Ushers were, however, very polite, friendly, and helpful. Too bad the rest of the staff can’t be taught to maintain the rules while still providing polite and friendly customer service. And come on, let granny have her average size bag! Making an old woman walk all the way back to check her bag and then wait in line all over again seems cruel but I saw it happen more than once.
